Today we completed part 1 of the chapter 1 test. The non-calculator part of the test will be tomorrow.
Make sure you have completed all of the review pro Students completed their warm-up problems, which included 2 AP multiple-choice questions. Students received their quiz 1.4, which were well done. We went over questions on 1.5 and students had about 30 minutes to work together on their review assignment. Tonight's homework is to complete the review assignment. Calculator portion of the chapter 1 test is tomorrow (9/27) and the non-calculator portion will be Friday, September 28th.
We did our 5 warm-up questions and then went over any remaining questions on book 1.4. We rounded up partners for our partner quiz 1.4. Nicely done! We collected last week's homework. Tonight's homework is to complete book 1.5. Bring your book to class tomorrow as we will be working on our chapter review. Test on chapter 1 is this Thursday (calculator part & Friday (non-calculator part).
Students completed their 5 warm-ups questions on trig and writing the equation of a line. We went over their quiz 1.3 and any questions. We also went over the IVT packet from last Friday. Today we reviewed one-sided limits (1.4) and had our quiz on 1.3 with no calculators. We also watched a short video on the intermediate value theorem. Tonight's homework is to complete book assignment 1.4 through #78. This Friday, September 21st, there will be a NO Calculuator quiz on 1.3 .
Students reviewed their unit circle trig with 4 warm-up problems. We went over questions in 1.3 and turned in homework. We continued our notes on 1.4 and examined the difference between continuity at a point versus continuity on the entire domain of a function. Tonight's homework is to do the first half of book 1.4.
