Today all classes learned about the life and architecture of America's greatest architect, Frank Lloyd Wright. Students learned how he kept remaking himself and perserved through many trials, some of them his own doing.

5th hour played Calculus Hedbandz. 7th hour started Frank Lloyd Wright biography. Today 1st hour used the class time to go over their review packets for their final exam.

Solutions for the review packet are posted on the AP Calculus page. Today students received a final exam review guide and used class time to work on it in groups of 3 - 4. 7th hour will want to check their answers with the review key which will be posted on the AP Calculus AB page. 7th hour has their final on Monday, May 20th.
5th hour has their final on Tuesday, May 21st. 1st hour has their final on Wednesday, May 22nd. Books may be turned in on the day of your final exam. Seniors are exempt from the final if the second semester grade is an A or B. 1st hour and 5th hour can sign the exemption sheet on Monday. If you want additional topic practice, use the link on the HOME page for the online practice. Today students completed their test on 6.1 - 6.3 & 7.1 - 7.2. 7th hour received their second semester review packet. We will go over this tomorrow since 7th hour has their final exam this upcoming Monday, May 20th. The other classes will get their review packet tomorrow.
Today we went over the Chapter 6/7 Review sheet from yesterday as we played The Big Number Game. If you were not in class to go over the review sheet, the review sheet and the worked out answers are posted on the Calculus page (click the AP Calculus tab on this site).
The final chapter test 6.1 - 6.3 & 7.1 - 7.2 will be tomorrow, 14 questions and calculators allowed on the entire test. Today students completed the calculator portion of their jigsaw quiz. They also received a review sheet for the chapter 6 & 7 test, which is this Thursday, May 16th.
Homework was collected from chapters 4 & 6 in Fast Track to a Five and the 2011 AP FRQ 1 - 6. Final exams for all juniors and non-exempt seniors |
