We came up with this generalization:
For polynomials with even degrees, if a> 0 then the end behavior is up, up.
For polynomials with even degrees, if a< 0 then the end behavior is down, down.
For polynomials with ODD degrees, if a> 0 then the end behavior is down, up.
For polynomials with ODD degrees, if a< 0 then the end behavior is up, down.
