We spent the first part of class doing half of the problems on the natural logarithms worksheet. We started by going over 17 - 22 (yesterday's homework). Then students had the last 15 minutes to complete the remaining problems on the worksheet.

We discussed questions from the chapter 6 chapter test. Re-tests must be completed by 4/10 and students must meet with me to discuss their test and have all their homework from chapter 6 done.
Then students completed the district pre-assessment on logs and exponentials. HW: Complete 17 - 22 on today's worksheet. Students turned in their 7.5 book assignment and completed their chapter 7 test.
Enjoy your Spring Break! Students participated in the inner/outer circle review activity over sections 7.3 - 7.5. I also worked with individual students.
HW: Study for your test (7.1 - 7.5) and turn in any missing work from chapter 7. We used the log properties from 7.4 and the conversion between exponential form and logarithmic form (section 7.3) to solve exponential and logarithmic equations. We also found that if we are able to get the same bases then the exponents must be equal. We complete 8 problems together in class.
We also went over WS 7.4 (day 2) and collected it. HW: Page 473 - 476 7 - 25 every 3rd, 26, 31 - 34, 38, 40 - 44, 49, 62, 64, 66, 70, 82, 86, 90, 91, 94 Test will be this Friday on 7.1 - 7.5. We went over the quiz from yesterday and also the log properties. We completed 6 more problems together on the WS 7.4 Reteaching. We also went over questions from WS 7.4. This was collected. Students also had the last 10 - 12 minutes to work on WS 7.4 (day 2). Some students completed remaining questions from their chapter 6 test.
HW: WS 7.4 (day 2). Do both sides. Students started class by completing their Quiz 7.1 - 7.2. Then we used the TI-Nspire calculators to help us investigate 3 properties of logarithms. We did a few examples together on the WS 7.4 Reteach side.

They completed it in class and we went over it as well. Due to many questions the quiz was postponed until Monday.
Then we went over questions from the 7.3 book assignment. This was collected. Students were given WS 7.3 to complete by Monday. HW: WS 7.3 and Quiz 7.1/7.2 will be Monday, March 16th. Today we did a quick review of material from 7.1/7.2. We also went over the WS 7.1/7.2 packet from 3/11. This was collected. Then we discussed how we would find the inverse of y = 2^x. We investigated the graph of the inverse using the TI-Nspire calculators. We also evaluated logarithms and were able to go between exponential form and logarithmic form.
