Homework is to complete the attached worksheet 9.1
Today we categorized our 3 dimensional shapes into polyhedron versus non-polyhedron. Then we classified polyhedra into prisms and pyramids and they are always named by their base. Each student used marshmallows, toothpicks and/or uncooked spaghetti to make a specif polyhedron. Each student determined the number of faces, vertices, and edges. We put the data together and were able to see the Euler Formula relating these items: F + V = E + 2.
