Today we went over 10 review questions on the Smartboard. Students received a second practice quiz on 10.1 - 10.3. We went over answers to their first practice quiz from yesterday. Both worksheets will be collected tomorrow. Quiz 10.1 - 10.3 is tomorrow, March 22nd. Any missing work from chapter 10 must be turned in by the end of the day tomorrow, 3/22.
Today students were divided up into 5 teams and they worked as a team to answer questions from 10.2 & 10.3 on the Smartboard.
Tonight's homework is to complete WS Practice Quiz #1. Students received a double-sided green summary sheet for 10.2 & 10.3. We completed 3 review problems from 10.2 and 3 review problems from 10.3. Students used the last 25 minutes to complete WS 10.3 and book 10.3 (if that was not done).

We used geogebra to investigate the relationship between the longest side and the shortest side in a 30-60-90 triangle. We completed our 10.3 notes and students are to complete the book assignment on 10.3. Please bring your book to class tomorrow.

Students used the remaining 40 minutes to complete the book assignment 10.2 and the second WS 10.2. Both items will be collected on Monday, March 18th if they were not turned in today.
Today we used a square post-it note to create a right isosceles triangle (as calleda 45-45-90 triangle). We discovered that the hypotenuse = leg (short side) * square root of 2. We completed the notes on 10.2. Homework is the worksheet 10.2.
Today we did more work on reducing radicals and multiplying radicals together. Students are to complete the worksheet on radicals for homework. The first side was mostly completed in class.

We also looked at using radicals with the Pythagorean theroem and simplifying radicals. We completed the notes packet and the homework was on the last page on the notes.
