Today we solved 3 proportions as our warm-up problems. Then we work through our notes on similarity. For two polygons to be similar they must be the same shape and all their corresponding sides must be proportional. We discussed that if triangles had all their angles congruent, then they had to be similar. However, this idea does not hold for rectangles. All rectangles are not similar, only if their sides are proportional.
