We saw how the grouping method (given 4 terms) is just a variation of the box method. If students do not wish to use the box method, we used the idea of grouping the first 2 terms together & then the last 2 together and taking out the GCF of each group. This should give a common group to factor out. We completed 3 examples together on WS 4-4 Enrichment.
