Students can do the following:
1. students can simplify radicals
2. students can use basic operations (add, subtract, multiply) with binomial radicals
3. can rationalize a radical expression
4. solve radical equations using algebraic and graphing methods
5. find the inverse of a function, graph the inverse of a function and determine is the inverse is a function
6. state the domain and range of both a function and its inverse
7. can find the value of the composition of two functions; example: given f(x) = x - 7 & g(x) = x^2 +1 find f(g(2)) or g(f(x+3))
8. rewrite a radical equation in order to describe (in words) the transformations of a given equation from its parent function
