HW: Complete book 3.2 (or webassign) and the WS 4 question practice quiz 3.2. Quiz 3.1 - 3.2 will be on Wednesday, 12/7.
We started with 3 review questions: derivative rule for e^u, & chain rule, and the related rates cone problem with water leaking out of a cup. We went over these in class. Then we checked through both worksheets on MVT theorem (Thursday's & Friday's).
HW: Complete book 3.2 (or webassign) and the WS 4 question practice quiz 3.2. Quiz 3.1 - 3.2 will be on Wednesday, 12/7. Students completed a 5 question warm-up. Then we completed our notes on Rolle's Theorem and Mean Value Theorem. We also went over 1 - 3 from yesterday's homework.

Students completed a 10 question warm-up and learned the derivative rule for e^u. Then we went over the conclusions from yesterday's MVT packet. We found that to use the MVT the function needs to be continous on [a, b] and differentiable on (a, b). Students also received their 2.4 - 2.6 test back and went over about 4 questions.
