We mentioned there are 2 key pieces of information in graphing the parabola. First is to identify the vertex and then to identify any transformations. Then we talked about vertex form and how to find the vertex and the axis of symmetry. We also review the transformations that occurred by the new function compared to the parent of y = x^2. We briefly talked about the domain and range of a quadratic in vertex form and were able to identify the maximum or minimum value.
