Student were also given a paper plate that was folded in half 3 times to create 8 sections. We mentioned this was a perfect example of exponential growth! Then we labeled all the angles present and found their corresponding coordinate values. By folding, we estimated the y-coordinate to be close to 3/4. We used our pink 45-45-90 triangle to confirm the coordinate values. We did this for the 45 degree reference angle in quadrants II, III, and IV. Lastly, we drew in a 30 degree angle and a 150 degree angle and started to use our yellow triangle to find those coordinates. We'll complete the circle tomorrow.
