Homework: WS Review Chapters 6/7 do 1 - 5
We went over any questions from chapter 5 in Fast Track to a Five. Students had the rest of class to work on WS Review 6/7 (do 1 - 5, as we completed 6 - 8 from chapter 7).
Homework: WS Review Chapters 6/7 do 1 - 5 Students who were in class today had time to work on their review of 6.1 - 6.3 in chapter 5 of Fast Track to a Five. I also collected homework from weeks 9 - 13. Log on to Infinite Campus for details.
We had the Rubik's Cube available for those wanting to try to solve the cube. Homework: Page 132 - 136 1 - 3, 5 - 9, 10 - 14 (don't do the Euler's method problems) Mini-Test this Tursday Students completed the writing portion of the mini-AP exam (some completed 17 MC questions if they were absent yesterday).
Other students had the opportunity to solve the Rubik's cube or use the time as a study hall. On Monday, May 12th, I will collect HW Week 12 (WS 7.2, book 8.7, and chapter 6 1 -15 in Fast Track to a Five) and 13 (chapters 1 & 2 :1 - 15 each in Fast Track to a Five). Homework: Please turn in HW weeks 9, 10, and 11 (see IC for the homework for each week). Mini-test for 6.1 - 6.3 will be next Thursday, May 15th. Today students took the 17 Calculator questions for their mini-AP exam. The other students had the opportunity to do the (Rubik's) cube, following a step by step solution packet.
Homework: Turn in homework from weeks 9, Students completed the full AP Calculus AB exam (off site) and those in class completed their 28 MC Non-calculator Questions.
Turn in homework from weeks 9, 10, and 11 (WK 9:book 7.1, 7.2, WS 7.1; WK 10: WS Packet Volume using Disks/Washers; WK 11 Homework: Those doing the mini-AP classroom version will complete their 17 MC calculator questions tomorrow, May 8th, in class. Our last day of review we spent going over the 2013 MC non-calculator questions. We completed 14 - 15 problems and then finished the packet at the after school review session.
Homework: Get a good night's rest for your AP Calc exam tomorrow. Use www.getafive.com for review, see the home page for access codes. If you are not taking the full 3.5 hour AP Calc Exam tomorrow, then in class you will complete the 28 non-calculatore questions. Today we had a number of students out due to AP testing. We worked on a review worksheet that had the top 13 mistakes in AP Calculus. You can print out this page by going to the AP Calc tab.
We completed the first 7 - 8 and will complete this tomorrow. AP Calc review today and tomorrow (May 5th & 6th) after school from 3:00 - 4:15 in C215. Homework: WS The Lucky 13 Students from 5th hour reported there expert findings to each of their group members. 7th hour completed their individual colored sheets (behind the other class since yesterday was AP bubble day during 7th hour).
All students received one final set of the 2010 FRQ Questions (only 5 of them since students answered #4 already). AP Review sessions: today after school from 3:00 - 4:30 and on Friday, May 2nd from 1:15 until 2:30 in room C215. Homework: Complete 3 FRQs from the 2010 packet (limit of 45 minutes) and review for the AP Exam. Make use of www.getafive.com directions are on the home page. |
