HW: Complete book 4.5 or webassign part 2; AP FTC Multiple Choice Questions Packet should be done, & WS Antidifferentiation by Substitution should be completed by 3/10.
We went over the first 9 questions in the AP FTC Multiple Choice Questions Packet. Students had about 25 minutes to complete their Quiz 4.4. They used the rest of the time to complete the WS Antidifferentiation by Substitution packet from yesterday.
HW: Complete book 4.5 or webassign part 2; AP FTC Multiple Choice Questions Packet should be done, & WS Antidifferentiation by Substitution should be completed by 3/10. Students were given information about registering for the AP Exam. Forms are due to the guidance office by March 18th. Per the school district, your first AP Exam is free; however, you must include a $15 deposit which you will get back when you take the AP Exam.
We went over 5 review problems on FTC (both parts). We also completed the last problem from yesterday's notes; using the double angle formula for sin^2 (x). HW: Complete book 4.5 or webassign 4.5 part II. The substitution packet that you picked up today should be done by Thursday, 3/10. Quiz tomorrow over 4.4 FTC (both parts). Turn in homework from week 6 if you have not done so. Homework from week 7 should be turned in Thursday, 3/10. We completed our notes on u-substitution method. The idea behind this method is to take a complicated problem to integrate and rewrite it as a simpler problem.

HW: Complete 12 of the AP MC Questions on FTC (from 1 - 19) and complete your book 4.4 assignment We looked at 12 problems that asked us to find the derivative of an integral defined function. This is the second part of the FTC. Then we completed our notes over 4.4 FTC part 2.

We saw how we could use the FTC with a given graph of the derivative and a point on the original function to find missing function values.
